Peace, War and Reconciliation
It is not everyday that one is in the presence of a Nobel Peace Prize winner. And when that person is His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama Tenzin Ghaitso, one consider oneself fortunate.
One the morning of 25th September 2005, I felt fortunate to be among 30,000 people gathered to hear the Dalai Lama deliver his plenary lecture 'Peace, War and Reconciliation'. A man so humble, so polite and yet so bold and expressive, it was sheer happiness to hear him talk for about an hour as he put forth his views in a most simple and entertaining way. The entire lecture and question and answer session is available here.
