Whoa. My ticket to madras was finally confirmed today. Just when I'd given up all hope of ever leaving african soil, came a messaih from Emirates Airlines and restored order into my life. Hee hee.. this means i can spend a full 5 days in madras before i leave for the US.. Hee hahaha.

The gods must be really pleased with me.. I also got my much awaited driving license. Great day indeed. On a totally unrelated topic, anybody know the link between the words 'amen' and 'ameen' ? (other than their meanings)
